I need some advice, and you guys are the only ones I know who can help me without spewing BS out of every orifice. I'm looking to invest in a pocket PC, I know that they can be over rated and all of that, but it would be a really good thing for me to have for my studies. I know what I need, and I know what I like in a piece of technology. So here is my list of do's and don'ts for my intended investment.

DO
- have a keyboard and ability to use external keyboard
- wi-fi
- word processing
- external memory
- good battery life

Doesn't Need
- cell phone capability
- bluetooth/infrared
- touch screen(though it would be a nice addition)

I'm looking at the $300 range, if you have any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, not exactly wonky, more like.... everything is fine, and that's the weird part. Life is going smooth, everything seems to be working out, though some of it in ways I never would have expected, but going.... smooth... ? I'm not used to this, I'm used to living pay cheque to pay cheque, not knowing whether I'll have to move, or find roommates, or if I'll have my phone(power, internet, water, etc) cut off this month. But now, I've got money in the bank, that doesn't need to go to someone so they'll stop calling me. I have realistic plans of getting glasses/contacts, AND new tires, and my credit card and loan are getting paid down. OMG!! I think hell may have frozen over. Well, happiness and joy abound. Okay, well slightly exhausted contentment will have to do for now. But stepping back and looking at everything now, it doesn't seem nearly as overwhelming as it did this time last year. Miss you all.

intoxicating moments, filled with excitement and warmth. Train of thought.... slipping off the tracks. Uncontrolled free fall. Can't breathe, can't look but can't open your eyes. stomach tied in knots, every bone aches. tensed so tight, not all the will in the world can unclench your fists. scream, cry, shake. nothing beneath your feet, nothing above your head. intoxicating moments.

Long time no post. World’s been crazy hectic. Mom was in town, left on Tuesday. Ran away from real life for the weekend. Hid in the bush with Justin, saw a few people I’d been missing. Talked to the n0me, Colin, and Bill, and hung out with and spent quality time with Alena. Happy tenting, good music, great people, and saw a few I hadn’t seen in years. Quality relaxation time. Swam in the lake, sunned on the beach and even got a bit of a sunburn(now a nice even tan). Back to work and everything’s going good. Trying to get into a good routine. Stable and level, still thinking about going back to school just not sure what I want to do.
Well, I think I’m going to be on my way. Will type at you all soon. Take care and be well.

World a little wonky right now. Everything seems to be going well, but there’s this under current of… tension?… and I’m not sure where it’s coming from.
In other news…
Finally pulled out the sewing machine my mom bought me a couple years ago, and I’m sewing up a pair of pants. Going pretty good, ‘cept the tension keeps going weird randomly.
My mom is in town for a couple of weeks. She got in on Tuesday, and she’s here til the 24th. Stayed here til today, gone to AB for a weekend, then when she comes back she’s going to be staying with a friend for a few days, then she’s taking care of the kitty while Just and I are up at Ness. Went out yesterday and bought some curtains and a rod, found some nice panels that match the couch really well. Also picked up a barbeque. Just a little portable gas grill, thinking we can take that up the Ness with us, just incase we want to use it.
Work week is almost done. Can’t wait for a couple of days of R&R. Probably get the curtains put up too. Hoping to have the pants done before sleep tomorrow.
Well, anyway, just a brief update on the life… thanx for your time.

Well, back to Saskatoon 12 hours and got us an apartment. It's the same place that I used to live in. Not the same suite, but the same building. Going in tomorrow to pay the damage, only $250, and take possession June 1st. So very happy to be home. The journey was great but I missed being home. Anyway, off to get some stuff done, or maybe nothing done, either way Post be Done.

Currently sitting on a bed in a hotel in Billings, Montana. On the way back home from our adventure to Denver. Everything went surprisingly well. Only one big fight and it didn't involve me or Justin. Took lots of pictures on the way down, not so many while there, or on the way back so far, but that's mostly because I was driving all day today. 8 hours of driving today, got here and discovered the joys of hot tubs and indoor pools just outside of our room. Well, will be back tomorrow, can't wait to see you all. I've missed Saskatoon, and am really looking forward to getting an apartment lined up when we get back. Take Care, Love you all. And we'll see you soon.

Well, it’s been a busy few days. Trying to get everything organized for the trip to Denver. Went to get my eyes checked so that I could get contacts again ($99), hair cut so I don’t look like a shaggy freak ($30), sunglasses so that driving isn’t such a bitch ($1), and paying off my parking tickets so that I can get across the border ($450). All in all, the most expensive trip I will take in a very long time.

Spent Friday night in an altered state of reality, well I wouldn’t actually call it reality at all, but there was stuff and things, went for a walk and spent a good night tripping balls. One last hoorah for an extended period of time.

Still trying to get prioritized for the move coming up. Giving notice today along with rent money, soon as I can find my pay cheque. Going to kick apartment hunting in to high gear when we get back. Forfeiting house space to Buddy & T while gone to the States, and finally got the Panda out. Yay!! No more waking up to people sleeping in my living room. Nome found employment, and has got things arranged so that he’ll have a place for June, and Kaine is doing reasonably well, still going to work and keeping himself out of trouble.

Decided to bring computer to Denver, so that we can check out apartment listings while we’re down there, and make sure that there’s a way for people to get a hold of me if there’s an emergency(e-mail). Well, should be off now, landlord is coming by right away to check the wiring, check ya later.

In This Light - CB

This is the world we live in. Where young hearts become old minds so quickly. Remember the days when youth lasted forever, and time knew what it was like to slow down. 8 months, gone by in the blink of an eye. Feels like that old world was only yesterday. I can see the future, and it’s coming so fast. Spring, summer, fall, winter, all here and gone without hesitation.

I know you all remember last summer, what a mind fuck that was. Worlds turned upside down, inside out, mostly for the better. Seems like such a short time ago…. Enemies were friends, friends were enemies, and acquaintances were just that.

Hard to see the world through those eyes today, but I can see everything that’s changed. Tiny steps add up to giant leaps. I miss those times, but then, I’ll miss these times in a few months, years, decades. It’s finally spring, and soon summer will come again, hopes, dreams, plans. Waiting to see what will come of them all.
